Prank Phone Calls / pager decoding
« Last post by hamjunk on February 06, 2014, 10:10:27 AM »
I found this guide on decoding pager signals. I thought it might be a great way to get phone numbers to prank. The dongle is only $15 on amazon so I ordered one and have been able to decode pages in my area at 931.7875mhz and 929.6125mhz. I am seeing lots of phone numbers now.

Yeah I plan to take a look at their code to see how they're accepting 2600Hz tones.  I want to set up blue box and red box stuff on mine.

All you have to do is dial 52# and you are automatically connected, however The intercom can only be accessed from the phone at Guest Service, and the phone on the operators desk. If you try to dial the extension from any other phone the system automatically hangs up on you.
Apparently this isn't the case, because in this guy's video he uses the red phones in the vacant checkout lanes.

I know for a fact that the courtesy red phones throughout the store (intended for customers) won't work, but haven't ever tried from the checkout lanes.

*edit: forgot to include the link to the video:

Hey Brad, have you ever seen this? Just another of the many cool things and throwbacks one can do with asterisk.

Fun Phone Numbers / Re: COCOT at Overlake Transit Center

Fucking around on Youtube when I found this.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/kMktNgHZ9w0&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/kMktNgHZ9w0&rel=1</a>

Has an actual bell ringer, and if you look at the end of the video, you can see he's calling it on his cell.

Number: 425-883-9905

that's NOT a COCOT. frontier only has old-school payphones with no computers in em' you can probably redbox it.

It sounds like a good idea, if you were to plan a day it could turn out pretty well.
