I still check out recent shows once in a while. I think they are pretty much the same as ever.

Emmanuel is like a modern-day(heh) high-tech Andy Rooney. Many of the topics covered usually involve high-tech blunders in government work, where you are screwed either way.

There also seems to be a high amount of self-censorship where they can't mention this or that, yet Rush, Howard Stern, etc will say a lot more and won't care. A little too much public television in the WBAI I say.

Emmanuel doesn't have the resources, money or ratings to put up as much of a fight that Stern and Rush could.
