For the DS and DSi you can buy flash carts that have a micro sd card slot it lets you download DS games and play 3rd party games like this

Here is what i use to play it:

It's shaped just like a DS game, yet there is a tiny slot in the cartridge for a micro SD card.  When you get the device (around $30) and a micro SD card (HCSD works too for huge capacity) just put the game into the "NDS" folder in the micro SD card, pop it into the cartridge and then put that into your DS!  Easy! In fact, it's so easy that i think you guys should host the file here too if you dont mind!

If you have a DSi the above AceKard 2i link is the only one that will work.  When Nintendo releases an update for "FaceBook," in the near future, DONT DO IT! It will make break all homebrew capabilities.

I can specify to loop the cactus theme in the code, and generally it does.  If you watch the video during the part when i am drawing it loops.  and it loops in the home screen and during the "cactus" game.  I only have it stop because you cannot play two mp3's at once, that i know of, during the game and it would interfere with the RedBox and BlueBoxing anyways.

Won't everyone just kick out some firmware up dates so that their card is still compatible? Although I suppose the emphasis is still mostly on DS and not DSi. I was looking for a card for my friends DS and man have the features jumped and the price dropped. I have not clue why someone wouldn't get a flash cart. The game is way cool too.

i have a DS lite, but no flash cart to burn the game onto. Sucks that red boxes and blue boxes don't work any more.

Should I Add a Dino Soundboard to it? any other suggestions, I can make some revisions i guess..??  And who says red and blue boxen dont work anymore??!   the microphone / headset jack on the front of the DS can be easily modified to be a beigebox interface i'm sure.  I just dont have a DS headset to mangle!

okay, I'll make a button on the BlueBox app that switches to DTMF, and add 2 soundboards.  I think i may be low on resources, so i may have to recycle some bg's.  the DS has a lot of limits, being low quality hardware.

This is awesome. I just added it to my DS today.

If it works fine, it will my new redbox of choice. It beats my iPod because my DS build-in speakers, and my earbuds never had enough volume. I had to carry around a speaker.

I might also try out the bluebox on Project MF.

I can't wait to have DTMF, too.

You know what would be really cool (and also really difficult to code)? TTY/TDD for the DS. That is, assuming the mic and speaker quality is good enough.
