Shirts and Stamps are here!

If you’ve ordered a new PLA t-shirt in the past couple of weeks, your orders are being shipped out today. Expect them by Tuesday or Wednesday. And there are still plenty of them left, if you’d like to order one. Expect new sizes and colors to be available soon.

3/5 UPDATE: Grey shirts have been ordered! Sizes available are S, M, L, XL, XXL, and XXXL. You can order a grey shirt from the store now, but it will take 2 – 3 weeks for delivery. Black shirts are also still available. A huge thanks to everyone who’s ordered – the original batch of shirts is nearly paid off already!

Also available now are PLA rubber stamps, which Jersey and some other PLA Forum members convinced me to make available for lots of unethical stamping. You can spend all your free time, stamping the hell out of everything in the name of PLA for just $10.00 too! Click here to order one.

Good fucking lord, is there no end to the ways RBCP will attempt to fleece people. Seriously dude, go find a real job and quit trying to hock crap. $10 for a stamper? I could go down to Office Depot and get one for half that!

Ben – the stamps cost me $8.99 each. With shipping and an envelope, I’ll likely lose money on each one sold. Not to mention the free one I’m sending to Jersey. I’m probably going to up the price on those to $12.00. Then you’ll really have something to flip out about. If you know of a cheaper place to buy self-inking rubber stamps, please let me know. Because Office Depot isn’t cheaper than $8.99.

Ben – the $4.95 rubber stamp on that page isn’t self-inking and it’s too small. And the cheapest self-inking stamp on that page is $20 (and it’s also too small). Self-inking is good because it’s more compact and portable.

mak0 – Thanks for the link! I will definitely look into those.

I’ve been selling PLA merchandise for 10 years now. The amount of money that I make in the end isn’t enough to affect my income at all. Pretty much all the money that’s made is given back to the site in some way. Such as giving away free t-shirts in contests or at cons or the hundreds of PLA Media CDs that I’ve given away. There’s obviously a demand for PLA merchandise. So what’s wrong with me providing it? Even if I was making a living at selling PLA stuff, what would be wrong with that?

I’m not begging people to buy things. I’m not claiming that I’m losing zillions in hosting costs and legal fees like some websites do. The rubber stamps weren’t even my idea. Somebody said I should make them, so I did and I’ve already sold them all. You should buy a shirt, Ben. They’ll make you a happier person. You seem like you need a little happiness in your life.

I think the only thing that could make me happy would be your tshirts. Your sound logic and reasoning has made me see the light. Thanks for the enlightenment, RBCP! I will be sending in my PayPal order later this afternoon.
